So… Having just hung out with one of my best mates @teddave in Brixton last week, and in the process reintroduced to the amazing machines that are vintage Moulton Bicycles, I was instantly re-infected with the Moulton bug. A week later, and to my great surprise a fine example of a Vintage 1964 Moulton 4 Speed (distributed in the USA by Huffy) will be winging its way to me imminently from New York… Until then, please relax, and luxuriate in this fine promotional film.

The last few days in Europe have been rough to say the least, my car may have blown up, I may have spent 30hrs ‘pinball’d’ around car rental office to car rental office, and my phone may be 500km away but those lemons keep turning into lemonade. In a chance encounter over breakfast at my gîte in Carcassonne yesterday, it seems I’ve been rescued by ace photographer Tino Pohlman and some bloke named Erik Zabel… look out for me in the ‘Canyon’ car today, I may just be drinking lemonade.
Until I get a chance to edit and upload all my #TourDeKjeld images, here’s my favourite from yesterday’s stage…
Took a REALLY early ride around Antwep this morning, got lost (of course), rode pavé into some ladies garden, stumbled into a whole cap full of coincidence in @Kaffenation and, with my love of street art, found what might be the best looking Fish n Chip shop ever… If it had been open at 0630 then I would have had Cod, chips, mushy peas, scraps and a bread cake for brekkers for sure …and now I’m in the Champagne region. See you in the morning Épernay! *please stop raining!
I’m in Europe riding, visiting friends and following the ‘interesting’ stages of the TdF. Last week I rode out of Saltaire Mill nr Bradford, where I once performed King Lear, and is the home to the excellent David Hockney.
As WiFi is sporadic, it’s better to follow my #toudekjeld euro trip on our instajam feed.

This version of the W I L D S T Y L E kit is called ‘Rapper’s Delight’. The designs were inspired by a photograph I took of graffiti on the side of a truck in Brooklyn a few years back. Then the talented @aklora took the image, transposed and ‘stitched’ it together into a dramatic digital canvas, before handing it over to our good mates @endocustoms who delivered big-time on the sublimation printing and physical kit production. If you think the kits look good in the images, you should see them in real life. Amazing!
